Included in your stay is a daily hearty Alaskan breakfast, wireless high-speed and use of bicycles to explore the Dyea Valley with, topped with a magical nightly campfire complete with the making for s’mores!. Each cabin features crafted quilts and log furnishings and are beautifully decorated with attention to detail. Wildlife viewing and bird watching are favorites within walking distance from Lodge.

The cabin suites have a queen bed or twin beds in the bedroom and a futon that fold into a double bed in the sitting room. The open floor style cabin features two queen beds without a dividing wall. Both styles are equipped with microwave, coffee pot, refer, satellite TV, game table, hair dryer, private bath and some in room snacks. The rate is $215 + tax based on double occupancy and $27.50 per additional person.

The hiker’s suite is a half cabin with an upper single bed and the lower a double bed. It has the same amenities as the full cabins without a fridge or microwave. These half cabins have been very popular for the Chilkoot Trail hiker. The rate is $185 + tax based on double occupancy and $27.50 per additional person. Each of these charming rooms is very comfortable for 2 adults but can accommodate up to 3.

Two night minimum required on all confirmed reservations 30 days plus in advance. We require a Visa or MasterCard, name on card, address and expiration date to confirm a reservation.

Our facility is located less than a half mile from the famous Chilkoot Trailhead and a short one-mile walk or ride to the well-known slide cemetery and the old Gold Rush ghost town of Dyea where there is a free guided interpretive walking tour daily.

We are an agent for the White Pass Train, Fjord Express, Skagway Float, Dyea Ziplines, and we would be happy to book your reservation and write your tickets during your stay.

There are shuttle services that run between Skagway and Dyea if you do not have your own transportation:

  • Car rentals are Sourdough at (907)983-2523 or Avis at (907)983-2247.

Our breakfast is a buffet with fresh fruit, sweet breads, yogurt, cold cereal and smoked salmon cream cheese bagels. Our hot entrée’s are seasoned scrambled eggs topped with ham and cheddar cheese, hot pancakes and hot cereal. We offer several beverages to choose from.

Guests are welcome to use our enclosed gazebo complete with grill, fridge, micro, bar and music. We keep a guitar nearby for the talented to entertain us.

Fully licensed restaurant with a lunch and dinner menu

Our signature surf and turf BBQ consists of marinated fresh Sockeye Salmon or blackened Cold Water Alaska Halibut with your choice of a sirloin steak seasoned with Montreal pepper and garlic or a teriyaki chicken breast accompanied with a baked potato, signature coleslaw, select breads with. It has been quite popular for our guests before retiring to the campfire to make s’mores and mingle with others visiting us! We are also a licensed premises with a dining room. We have just completed a 2,000 square foot event center for your gathering events.

    Cancellation Policy

    • Reservations must be secured with a Visa or MasterCard.
    • No charges will incur if cancellation is made 30 or more days prior to day of reservation.
    • 50% of reservation is charged if cancellation received 7 to 29 days prior to arrival.
    • Less than 7 days will result in full charge. This policy is necessary due to the unique location of our facility and re-booking of your cabin would be unlikely. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
