* Room Rates are for Two Person (Double) Occupancy. Additional Guests are charged $29.50/ guest/ night for those 12+ and $15.50/ guest/ night for those 2 – 11 years.
All rooms are also equipped with a coffee pot, selection of coffee and tea, game table, and hair dryer.
What else to expect with your stay at the Chilkoot Trail Outpost
Included in your stay is a hearty Alaskan breakfast each morning, wireless high-speed and use of bicycles to explore the Dyea Valley with, topped with a magical place for having campfire complete with the making for s’mores! Each cabin features crafted quilts and log furnishings and are beautifully decorated with attention to detail. Wildlife viewing and bird watching are favorites within walking distance from the Lodge.
We require a Visa or MasterCard, name on card, address and expiration date to confirm a reservation.

Our breakfast is a buffet featuring fresh fruit, baked goods, yogurt, cold and hot cereal and a ‘Hot off the Griddle’ item. We offer several beverages to choose from.
Guests are welcome to use our enclosed gazebo complete with grills, a microwave, seating and music.
There are shuttle services that run between Skagway and Dyea if you do not have your own transportation:

Fully licensed restaurant on site
Our restaurant offers light lunch options with an array of beverages from 12:00-3:00pm daily with beer and wine options available. Though we don’t offer dinner, guests are welcome to utilize the gazebo for cooking. We offer a DIY Surf & Turf Picnic Basket for $34.95/person with 24-hr advance notice. Our DIY Surf & Turf Picnic Basket consists of marinated fresh Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon or blackened Cold Water Alaska Halibut with your choice of a sirloin steak seasoned with Montreal pepper and garlic or a teriyaki chicken breast accompanied with a baked potato, signature coleslaw or side salad and select breads. It has been quite popular dinner option for our guests looking for a more personalized, Alaskan experience away from the busier Skagway night life.

Hiking the Chilkoot Trail?
Our facility is located less than a half mile from the famous Chilkoot Trailhead. Making it a convenient and relaxing accommodation before and after a hike on the famous trail.
Or if you are looking to just explore the Dyea valley, the Chilkoot Trail Outpost is also just a short one-mile walk or ride to the well-known slide cemetery, the old Gold Rush ghost town of Dyea where there is a free self- guided interpretive walking tour, and the Dyea flats that offer beautiful views done the canal, salmon fishing in the fall and occasional bear viewing.

Cancellation Policy
- Reservations must be secured with a Visa or MasterCard.
- $25 fee for cancellation 30 or more days prior to day of reservation.
- 50% of reservation is charged if cancellation received 7 to 29 days prior to arrival.
- Less than 7 days will result in full charge. This policy is necessary due to the unique location of our facility and re-booking of your cabin would be unlikely. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
